Taking care of your hand poured Soy Candle

Upon receiving your beautiful Soy Candle, there are some important factors to consider when burning it and some safety information also
Each time you light your Soy Candle it is important to trim your wick to 5mm before lighting it. Allow Candle to cool and reset before trimming the wick again.  Trimming your wick also ensures your candle will not have a "mushrooming" wick or that the flame becomes to big.
When you burn your Candle for the first time, it is most important that you allow your Candle to burn all the way across the whole vessel to the edges.  This takes anywhere between 2 - 4 hours depending on the size of Vessel.  Not allowing your Candle to burn all the way to the edges will mean that the next time you burn it, it will only burn to the point it did the previous burn and cause the candle to tunnel and you will waste a lot of the Candle.
Always ensure you place your Candle in a safe place, away from any wind or drafts as this will also affect the burn of the Candle.  If it is placed near a breeze, a Candle can burn unevenly and faster than it normally would as well as losing some of its scent.
Keep Wax pool free of wick trimmings, matches and any other debris.
When ready to extinguish your Candle  it is recommended you use a Candle Snuffer or dip the wick into the melted wax to extinguish, then restraighten wick.  It is not recommended that you blow out your candle as it can cause the Wax to Splatter.
Don't allow your Candle to burn past 10mm of Wax left in the Vessel.  Burning your Candle until it has no wax left leaves it at risk of overheating and causing the Vessel to crack or break.
There are lots of things to remember when you are Burning your Soy Candle, but these will all become part of your Candle Care Routine and ensure you get the absolute best experience from your Candle
