Soy wax does not burn as hot as paraffin wax, so soy wax candles require a thicker wick, which does not burn 100% and needs to be trimmed regularly. Aim to trim your wick to about 1/4"/6-8mm before you re-light your candle. Having the right tools to care for your Soy Candles is a must for the serious Candle Enthusiast.

Used to ensure you trim your Wicks correctly and our 18cm wick trimmer will trim and catch wicks. A special design means that the "tray" on the side of the wick trimmer will catch wick residue, keeping your candles looking clean. These are made from steel. Wick Dippers
Dip your candle wicks.
One of the simplest ways to extinguish your Soy candle is to dip the candle wick. This causes the flame to go out, there is no residual smoke and the melted soy wax will reset and be ready for the next use.
Blowing out the flame can cause melted wax to spread across the table and the wick will smoke. .

Wick Snuffer
This Candle Snuffer is the essential candle accessory. Using a candle snuffer minimizes smoke plume and is a safe way to extinguish your candle, it also stops particles from the wick being blown in to the wax pool beneath the wick.
